studioEH1 is Power Plate® UK's selected Training Academy in Scotland, based in Edinburgh. Power Plate® is a form of vibration training that offers a new and exciting way to build muscle, flexibility and bone density. At studioEH1 we offer Semi-Personal Training and Personal Training for all ages and abilities – for professional athletes; for fitness enthusiasts; for those recovering from injury; for those too busy or too bored to spend an hour in the gym…the list is endless!

 

Performing an unlimited number of exercises in our exclusive studios, on a Power Plate®, under qualified instruction, for just 25 mins, two to three times a week, will provide a host of benefits, over a relatively short time period, including:

An Alternative Approach

Power Plate® is an excellent alternative for people who enjoy an active lifestyle, but are too busy to get to the gym for an hour, three or four times a week. It is designed to enhance sports training as both, a supplement to and an alternative form of training.

 

Traditional training uses approximately 60% of your body’s muscle fibre. Vibration training, or more commonly known as Acceleration training, uses between 90 and 95% muscle fibre. This is because the vibration is stimulating your involuntary muscles (in addition to your voluntary muscles) – creating a stretch reflex. Therefore, the combination of the stimulus from the vibration and the effort you put in, enables you to achieve similar results over a much shorter period of time.
