We appreciate it’s a mission to get out of the house and your time is precious. Our unique proposition is your Power Plate® sessions are ONLY 25mins, but as effective, if not more so, as an hour long exercise class...and there’s not a stomach crunch in sight!

Post Natal Edinburgh Osteopath:

INTRODUCING JESSICA WEATHERALL BAppSci (ClinSci), BOst Sci, MGOsC

studioEH1 is teaming up with Jess, an Osteopath specialising in Babies, Children and Pregnancy. Osteopathy is a hands-on treatment that addresses the body as a whole. It aims at restoring motion and decreasing tension to encourage repair. After the trauma of giving birth sometimes things don't fall back into place exactly where they should, especially in the pelvis, lower back and rib cage areas. This can lead to pain or discomfort even months or years later. Osteopathy can help correct alignment and encourage the healing process after giving birth.

 

During the initial Consultation or indeed as the Power Plate® sessions progress, if any problems are identified, we have a special referral arrangement with Jess to address these.

POWER PLATE® PRERSCRIPTION

  • Personal one-to-one Training two to three times a week – sessions are tailored in line with your progress

  • You’ll be combining Power Plate® with Swiss Balls, Boxing, Dumbbells, Dynabands, Kettlebells and Gliders to ensure your whole core will be stimulated in multi-planes...and boredom is NOT an option!

  • Bi-monthly studioEH1 Full BODY MOT and on-going encouragement, support and advice

  • Homework!

No matter what type of birth you have had, your Pelvic Floor will have weakened and the chances are a degree of nerve damage will have occurred. What we need to do is reconnect the damaged nerves. Power Plate® and the Post Natal period are ideal partners for this and for those who are time poor but want effective exercise and neurological stimulus without harsh impact and complicated movements.

 

For Mums further down the line, both Personal Training and Semi-Personal Training is ideal for targeting Legs, Bums & Tums!

 

Discounts available for Mums wishing to train together – 4 Power Plates in each studio. This is a new studioEH1 course and is currently only available as Personal Training i.e. one-to-one. If there is suitable demand, we will look to offer a Post Natal Power Plate® Semi-Personal Training Package at a reduced rate, i.e. classes of one-to-four Mums.
