Ivy was by far a stubborn person, but Aiden was always up for the challenge and able to dish back what Ivy threw his way. She is also the most honest representation of someone who had to struggle to survive and dealt with depression. he kinda just waltz back into her life and was like ”yup youre mine and you gotta tell me everything” like bitch? This had some very heavy themes (please DM for trigger warnings), but she counter balances it with the football team’s antics, friendships and lots of steam.

Oh boy was I wrong, right away from the few first pages, I got this feeling within me that I was going to love this book, and the premise of the book intrigued me. Someone once said that if you liked the Off Campus/Briar U series By: Elle Kennedy or just sports romances in general, you would like this book, and let me just say this book exceeded my expectations and more! And of course there is plenty of steamy match-ups along with the raunchy language that goes along with a house full of jocks. Ivy came off as someone who didn’t care much for anyone and focused on herself such as grades/ work and getting by in life.

His love for football wasn't his entire personality either -- he was just such an inherently good person, and I just adored him.

Now Ivy was also an interesting character but I think that I got a bit bored after a while and that there wasn’t enough tension?Ivy and Aiden truly got their chance at a life together and I’m always a sucker for good epilogue which this book delivered on. she tends to also put herself down a lot which is a bad thing ofc but i think at some point in the book i started wondering if she even wanted help at all? It was hard not to fall in love with the hero and heroine Aiden and Ivy as well as the supporting characters.

She was so hot and cold, and I never felt like I knew who she truly was even at the end of the book. i mean ivy’s whole story is her having issues with her family only to have like a chapter with her finally talking to them about it? When Skylar Allen decided to move across the country for college, she thought it'd be the perfect chance to reinvent herself. Seriously, it's such a rarity in the romance world to get a polite H, let alone one that is a VIRGIN, aka, not a douchebag womanizer.
