POWER PLATE® Acceleration Training

Time involved

 

POWER PLATE® sessions last 25 minutes and are controlled by qualified POWER PLATE® Trainers.

 

A 25 minute session on the plate is similar to 1 hour sweating in the gym – what would you rather do!?

 

For optimum results, three 25 min sessions per week are recommended. This is not however, a quick fix – like any well respected form of training, it is a positive change to your lifestyle and you will get out, exactly what you put in!

 

What do you wear?

 

studioEH1 has no dress code as such but we would recommend that you wear socks as opposed to trainers. Whilst sessions are intense, they are not necessarily exhaustive – no need to shower after! Saying that, we can make you sweat!!

 

Changing rooms are available.

 

Contra-indications

 

Below is a list of contra-indications i.e. conditions for which POWER PLATE® should either NOT be used, or medical advice should be sought in advance.

Wearing a pacemaker

Acute hernia, discopathy

Acute thrombosis conditions

Cardiovascular disease

Fresh wounds resulting from operation or surgical intervention

Wearing recently fitted IUDs, coils, metal pins, bolts or plates

Pregnancy

Gall and kidney stones

Osteoporosis in an advanced stage

Synthetic joints
